Our mission is to empower low-income individuals and senior citizens in New Castle County with the essential digital literacy skills required for personal development, social connectivity, and economic participation. We envision a community where everyone, regardless of age or socioeconomic status, has equal access to and proficiency in utilizing digital technologies.

What is the duration of your training programs?

The training programs can be designed to include up 12 classes. Classes  can meet once or twice per week. 

Workshops are 90 minute lessons.  These lessons are designed to include lecture and activities during the lesson. 

Lecture and Lab are 180 minute lessons.  These lesson are designed to learn the material during the first 90 minutes. The lab allows participants to apply what they learned during the first 90 minutes of the lesson.  The lab gives participants hands on practice to apply what they learned in the presence of an instructor in case assistance and correction is needed. 

 

Do you offer any certifications upon completion?

Yes, we do offer certification for certain courses upon successful completion. These certifications can enhance your resume and showcase your expertise.
